太阳系中除了太阳和九大行星外，还有许多小行星。经统计，到20世纪90年代初，已登记在册的小行星就有4000多颗，还有众多的小行星（据记载有50多万颗）虽已经发现，却有待进一步证实。这些小行星是大行星的兄弟，是地球与其他大行星的伙伴。据天文学家观测研究表明，这些小行星主要集中在火星和木星之间。它们都有各自的运行轨道，绕太阳公转，且具备大行星的一切条件。
总之，可以说，小行星和地球的兴亡息息相关，因此研究太阳系内的小行星对我们小组来讲或者是对地球都是具有十分重要的研究意义的。
英文摘要--
In solar system besides sun and nine planets, but also some many planetoids.After the statistics, to the beginning of 1990s, the planetoid which registers had more than 4000, although but also some multitudinous planetoids (had more than 50 ten thousand according to record) already to discover, waited for actually further confirmed.These planetoids are major planet brothers, is the Earth and other major planet partner.According to the astronomer observes the research to indicate that, these planetoids mainly concentrate between Mars and Jupiter.They all have respective movement track, circles the solar revolution, also meets major planet all requirements.
In brief, may say that, the planetoid and Earth's rise and fall is closely linked, therefore studies in solar system's planetoid to say to our group or is all has the extremely important research significance to the Earth.
